About Clarion Co., Ltd.
Clarion introduced Japan's first car radio in 1951, Japan's first car stereo in 1963, and the world's first AutoPC in 1998. Our world has shifted from analog audio to digital car AV, and on to car navigation and the new domain of IVCS (In Vehicle Computing System).During the 60 some years since our establishment, Clarion has continued to open up new fields in car equipment. A keen sensitivity, technical prowess that doesn't skip a beat, and a perspective that focuses one step beyond the present. Even if the needs of the times or the market change, we never forget our frontier spirit as a pathfinder. As stated in our corporate philosophy, "Clarion strives to improve society by seeking to develop the relationship between sound, information, and human interaction, and by creating products to meet those needs." Until now, and from now on, Clarion will continue to challenge toward the uncharted field of the car interior based on a solid stance and foresight.
