Transfer music between home libraries, online music stores, and mobile phones.
Sony Ericsson's Walkman® phone is more than a phone. Combining a cellphone, a camera and the Walkman player 2.0 add up to a useful and enjoyable device. Use the phone to download songs from over the air music services in many of the most popular music formats, reducing download time and space needed for tracks. The music download function works great with the TrackID™ feature powered by Gracenote Mobile MusicID™. You can record a few seconds of a song, either using the microphone or built-in FM radio, and then send the clip to Gracenoteís music database. Gracenote will identify the track and send information about the song back to the phone. Once you have the information about a song you like, you're free to download it from your favorite music service.
Because Sony Ericsson equipped the mobile handset with Gracenote Discover™ and Gracenote Playlist™, the phone is designed to allow easy transfer of music between home music libraries, online music stores and mobile phones. Use the Walkman phone to search for music by typing in an artist, song, album or lyrics, and search listings to learn more about the song, purchase a ringtone, a full track or share music with a friend.
